There are different kinds of notes that you can use in the software.
General Notes: can be seen by you and subusers in the software (daily calendar) and in app although you can prevent subusers from seeing them.
If you use Formats 2 and 3 for Invoices, you do have the option of displaying General Notes on these invoice formats. All other formats do not display general notes, and on printed estimates general notes do not display.
Specific notes: display in profile and display on daily calendar although you can prevent them from displaying on daily calendar for subusers. They do not appear in app and do not appear on any printed estimates and invoices.
Job details: these details go hand in hand with the job type so they will always appear everywhere in the app, software, on printed estimates/invoices, etc.
Additional details: these are specific to the job but you can set it up where the prospect or customer doesn’t see additional details. That’s handled on the respective format screens (http://www.thecustomerfactor.com/estimate_format.php and http://www.thecustomerfactor.com/customization.php).
These are used mostly as a way to communicate with your tech out in the field without the prospect or customer seeing them on invoice or estimate.
