Insert Details for Each Job Being Scheduled

Here in http://www.thecustomerfactor.com  you can now insert specific details for each job being scheduled. Prior to this new feature it was only possible to add “additional details” for all jobs being scheduled.

As always, let’s start with a screenshot:

This is the scheduling area in a customer profile screen, but all job scheduling areas and estimate scheduling areas in The Customer Factor have this same functionality.

Please note the “+ Details” links to the right of each job type dropdown. For our example we’ll assume that we need to add specific details for each of the 3 jobs that we’re scheduling, so we’ll click on the “+ Details” link to right of each job and insert some details into the text fields that open up like this:

These job details are tied to each job and will display this way on all screens and on printed pages. For example, when you print an invoice for this customer with these 3 jobs on it, this’ll be how it displays in the description area:

Gutter Cleaning: Pick up leaves and clean gutters also
Deluxe Roof Cleaning: Clean and wash roof and apply a protectorant
Window Cleaning: Includes tracks, sills, and frames

As mentioned earlier you used to be able to only insert “additional details”, so you’d have to include all details for all jobs in that one area. You can still insert additional details if you want to (please note the “+ Additional Details” link that displays at bottom of scheduling area in above screenshot) if you are only scheduling one job, but with the introduction of job specific details, you now have more flexibility.
